Churros

Ingredients and Instructions

Churro Batter:

In a large bowl, combine:

  • 1 cup of water 

  • ½ cup unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 

Let boil on stove, then add:

  • 1 cup of sifted all purpose flour

Cool for 5 minutes, then add:

  • 2 large eggs, beaten

Put in piping bag and fry in 325 degrees Fahrenheit vegetable oil until golden brown

Cinnamon Sugar:

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 ½ tablespoons cinnamon

Mix cinnamon sugar in a shallow bowl and roll churros in the mixture as soon as they come out of the oil
